Program Description

Event Details

Children and tweens are invited to join us for their very own book club.  This isn't your typical adult book club, it's for kids who love stories!  Come to the Morrice Branch after school on Mondays and hear a few chapters of the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.  We will also have a snack and do an activity or craft relevant to the story.  This program is geared toward children in grades 3rd-6th, but all ages are welcome to attend.  This event series will meet each Monday until the book is complete.  Independent reading is not required and copies of the selected book can be checked out to kids interested in reading on their own at home. 

An adult is required to stay with children under 8 years old.  Snacks will be provided by the library.
