Program Description

Event Details

Join us at the Bancroft Library to view the total solar eclipse.  The eclipse is estimated to begin at 1:58 in our area and conclude at 4:27 pm.  Maximum coverage will be viewable at approximately 3:14.pm.

We will have a crafts and snacks available.  Please bring yard chairs and or blankets to sit on, the viewing will be on the lawn of the Shiawassee Township Hall.

We will have a limited number of eclipse viewing glasses available at the library, so please make sure you register all those who will be attending.

The ability to see the eclipse will be dependent on the weather and in the event that the weather is not cooperating and the eclipse is not viewable, we will have snacks and a craft inside the library.  The craft  will be Take and Make.
