Surviving in the Great Outdoors for Kids

Ages 7-12

Week Three:  We will learn about shelters and tents and have fun putting up some tents.

I think for most of your life you have slept inside your house in a cozy comfortable bed. 

What if you had to sleep out in the woods without a tent?  You would need to find a natural shelter or build one yourself. We will talk about different ways to build shelters and what we can use if we do not have a tent, but we will also have fun putting up tents.
